Surely the LFC strike rate of Torres is phenomenal and Suarez less so there? Suarez might well be close to the goalscorer Torres is now but I think claims that he is near peak Torres don't hold water.

Torres LFC SR 64% v Suarez 45%.

So torres is a good bit more effective a striker as Suarez based on their time at liverpool.

suarez catches up when including international and torres' last two years where he's scored relatively **** all. both of these lend heavily in Suarez' favour. what we need to do is to find a way of getting his international strike rates into the premier league. not for too few chances thats for sure...

I don't think it's worth bothering. Torres was awesome while he was here, Suarez is here now and is also wonderful. Let's just enjoy him being here and mesmerising us each game
