For me he has taken the famous number 7 shirt back to where it once was. He has inherited the true spirit of the wearer and follows the obvious Keegan, Dalglish analogies.

To do that in a team that is restructuring is remarkable the others slotted into a pre-existing well oiled red machine.

I hope we get to enjoy him, Coutinho and more of their ilk in the summer, for many seasons to come....
