I don't think you can argue if van persie wins it. If not for him, utd wouldn't have won the league. He carried that team. Obviously I'd prefer Suarez to get it, he's a more skillful player, but we're sitting in 7th despite his efforts. Plus with all the on field antics these past 18 months, he is never going to be a players favourite. We love him and rightly so. In the games this year against the big teams I don't remember him having a blinder that is all. Hardly a ridiculous criticism. I want more as I know he can produce.
