The difference between how DBF handled the Cantona thing and how Rodgers can handle Suarez is that DBF had won a lot of trophies and because of that was THE boss. He could throw chairs, tables whatever around.
If you have won a lot of trophies then the egos will respect you much more. Then the owners will allow you to do whatever you want. It will be his decision.
Suarez staying or not will most probably be decided by FSG and not Rodgers. Not a chance that Rodgers will have the final word, not a chance.
If we would have had someone like Ancelotti as manager then he could use the I will quit if the player is sold threat. What would happen if Rodgers did that?
I doubt that FSG would care about that. If they decide to sell Suarez and Rodgers made the threat then Suarez would most probably still be sold.Stop the cyberhate
