I guess we generally tend to like the ones who agree with our point of view. Case in point is Oliver Holt. Currently getting a load of love from LFC fans for his views on Suarez this time. Total opposite to his views on the racism case

I just dislike Tony Evans though. He is overly negative about all things LFC and has been for a while. Brazil and Irani lap it up though. I stopped following him quite a while ago because he is pretty hypocritical

The club signed up a new director of communications a few days ago. She is doing a good job so far. Susan Black IIRC.

She'd been doing the job for the past six months or so though, they just made her appointment official, that's all.

We clearly "bought" him to write that article IMO.

Yeah - he does the paper review with them and basically uses it as his platform to have a go at FSG & Rodgers.

Used to like him - but now he will never look at an argument in a reasoned way. Constantly negative and apaprently our only real fan.

I know its your opinion and all. But that is totally baseless. A positive article is just a different view on the subject. You cant be calling peoples journolistic integrity into question.

In fact I see you saying people take bribes a lot. Why is that? Anything that goes against us is corrupt, and anything positive for us is 'bought'

So, is Suarez a cunt or not? I saw him being compared to Joey Barton yesterday; can't recall who said it!

I'll be honest, besides his reporting around the racism issue, I think Oliver Holt is pretty decent and impartial

He is a slimey little manc loving scum as far as I am concerned. One piece of common sense reporting in his entire career does not win him round me I am afraid.

I drew a parallel in a point not too dissimilar to yours.
                              Oh I don't know.

Or maybe it's just a useful way to keep the story going, stoke the controversy by switching angles, talking up one side, then the other. Maybe there's an influence of social media.

I imagine they all play a part.

But look - the Mail ran with the "dirty scum" line, Carragher had a piece published and now it seems to have changed line. Coincidence?

Does Carra 'write' regularly for the Mail or was it a one-off?
