He's right there, and some journo's had the cheek to laugh as though he was joking.

Expect him to be strongly linked with them this summer.

PFA chief executive Taylor earlier said: "It would be embarrassing if he is named Player of the Year.
"But we have got to deal with it and make sure he is Player of the Year not just in a footballing sense but as a human being as well and we will be trying to do that."
And I'll say it again. That Gordon Taylor who breaks the law and employs a solicitor to get him off the hook on a technicality. That Gordon Taylor, moralising, over somebody else's behaviour.

Is the voting audited or made public? The old boys club will surely fix the vote.

Daily Mirror back page has a small article saying that Bale is hot favourite for POTY and Suarez is nowhere near in the running.

Daily Mail haven't even mentioned Suarez's name for it and have stopped showing his picture along with the other candidates.

He's got no chance of winning it and I'd go so far as him not getting into the team of the year bollocks they announce.

The whole award is a complete farce compounded when Giggs won it a few seasons ago.

I will be surprised if he gets in the team of the year, which is laughable as he has played consistently the best football in the league this season. There are opinions and then there is being wrong. I don't care what anyone says - anyone who doesn't think he's been the best player in the league is either blinkered by their bitterness or they just haven't been watching.

People keep saying RVP cos he's made the biggest difference in the title - well, yes, but that's not what the award is. And Bale has only excelled since around January.
                            Thanks very much for being

Suarez has clearly been the best player in the league and that is what the award is supposed to be about, its of course not though.

If you line Bale, RVP and Suarez up and objectively looked without anything other than the football they played over the year I cannot for the life of me see how you'd not say he's been the best player in the league.

                                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
