The whole booing thing is ridiculous to be honest. Fellow professionals? Show some class. Or just give a standing ovation to the player booked more for diving than any other this season.

I am sure I read somewhere that Luis would not be attending as Liverpool knew he would not be winning the award
I'm fairly sure the taylor has rigged the result, as Luis was by far the stand out performer in the PL.Comment

Nah I don't so. I can well imagine that there is some dislike of Suarez from fellow professionals. But then they're probably the same people who'd refer to John Terry as England's Lion Heart etc. Meh.
Hopefully someone recorded audio of the booing. Rodgers can then play it to Suarez before each game (from October
) to get him angry and pumped. Actually, on second thoughts, perhaps that's not such a good idea

There is a strong argument for Suarez and Bale to win the award to be honest. Bale has carried Spurs through games, and has really impressed me this season. I think Suarez should have won because I am a Liverpool fan and I watch him more.
The joke is the amount of plaudits Van Persie is getting. Its like people are totally forgetting the HUGE baron spell he has just come out of.

I know. He scored a **** ton early in the season. Think Bale and Suarez have been consistantly good.

Any of them could have won it IMO, no standout player in the PL this year IMO, but a good handfull of players being the best in their team.Comment
