But what I really wanted to pick up on was the simpleminded idea that people from Man United give enough of a sh*t about LFC that they'd bias the panel against Suárez. It's just silly, they have no worthwhile motive.
I do think the FA are biased but it has nothing to do with Man United and everything to do with (a) keeping sponsors and other powerful interests happy and (b) 'encouraging' Suárez to pack his boots and f*ck off somewhere abroad..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
