I can see the logic in selling Suarez. It's a bit like the situation with Henry. He was clearly Arsenal's best player and everyone thought they would capitulate when he left, but instead the rest of the squad raised their game and they became a better team.

They have been reaping the rewards since.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Too win stuff though you need the best players.

Absolute madness if we would do that.

He is 3rd best player in the world atm and we should be building a team around rather than looking to offload him.

He can do it all and the fact that he is a bullet-proof/resilient to injuries just adds to his importance to our club.

He needs to clean up his act and stop doing silly things on the pitch that have nothing to do with football but we would be crazy to sell him.

Was on the fence, but now realise it would be shockingly stupid to sell him. If we sold Luis Suarez for £50million I would hope FSG stumped up £60million to buy...Luis Suarez.

We are the only mid table team as far as I know that is lucky enough to have a truly world class player and despite that some geniuses amongst our fanbase think we should sell him !!
Can you imagine if Everton or Swansea had Iniesta ? That's the same as us having Suarez, we're so lucky to have this guy I'm amazed so many can't see it.

Football talent aside, Iniesta is the model professional whereas Suarez has caused more controversy and negative press for the club than any player I can remember.

I don't blame some fans for wanting to cash in.

                Exactly this for me.

If we sell Suarez - in our current position - I dread to think how long it could take for us to get a player of his level again.

TBF we only have him for 1 more season anyway if we remain a team that finishes 6th or 7th.

This summer we need to show our intent and hit the ground running in August if we are to achieve our goal of a top 4 finish and the CL.

Football Talent aside? not really sure you can put that aside tbh. Also he has also created many postive headlines and scored goals that will be shown across the world.

The Negative headlines don't last long, The Positives far outweigh the negatives.

WOuld be devestated if he left, The 1 world class talent we have now and a pleasure to watch. I also wonder what sort of effect on the rest of the squad, despite him being a cheating rascist vampire ******* he is very much loved by the rest of the team and the manager

I don't think we should cash in because of the negative headlines. I think we should cash in because of the ££££££££££££££££. We are proving we are not a one man team while he has been out. It'd be a chance to remodel the side again, like after Torres left (Though unsuccessfully on that occasion). Suarez is world class, he deserves to be at a team playing on the biggest stage. I reckon we need squad depth if we want to challenge for 4th spot. We are slowly rebuilding with some good signings but the money from Suarez would get us there quicker.

Can't see any argument that would personally convince me that selling him is in anyway positive.

Having money is fine - and we can all say we could sign Player A or B for X amount. But the fact is we can't compete for the top players in the market right now - because we aren't doing good enough.

If we want to get Top 4 we need Suarez - for me selling him would mean we get their slower, not quicker.

2 good results without Luis prove nothing, I remember we beat Utd 4-1 at Old Trafford without Xabi, did that result prove that we would be fine without Alsonso long term ?
Our current first choice 11 is good let's add to that this Summer rather than selling our best player.

You've changed your tune now? Yesterday you said we should sell Suarez in order to by 2 world class defenders. Now you're saying we should sell him to add squad depth?
