He is as great as Messi if you don't compare the finishing.

If he improves that then he could end up being a 40+ league goal scorer a season.

As already been mentioned. He could have scored five or six goals today, easily. That isn't the only game he could have done that. He creates a bucket load of big chances.

Captain of my FF team, so nearly got about 100 points, ended up with 4! He's a fantastic player, he creates so many chances and does things that no one else can do in our team and probably the league. Somewhat snatches at his chances and will probably always do so as he's 100 miles an hour in everything he does on the pitch. He's carrying too much on his shoulders. We have to give Carroll a run and see what if anything emerges as a partnership.

Bet he regrets the move from Ajax - indeed he would have been a champion had he stayed. Rather see him win medals at club level for another team than suffer, rot and win nothing with us.
You would rather see him playing for somebody else?

            A bit weird.

              Yeah, that doesn't make sense.

Surely you'd want to see him win medals with us.

I dont think he's THAT far off the mark, TBH.

Suarez seems to score or hit the post/bar in virtually every game, on top of other chances he fluffs. He's a prolific chance-getter

More like a post hitter. Love the guy's twist and turn move.

Of course I want him to win the league and champions league with us but that isn't going to happen. The crux of what I'm saying is - he's a great player for club and country and you've got to feel sorry for him not winning any major trophies at club level. Another partially similar comparison was Fabregas at Arsenal.

It has nothing to do with Dutch defences being ****. He is still getting chances and making them out of nothing, he will start scoring more regularly. His finishing is letting him down currently but I don't think its natural for him, after his scoring exploits in the Dutch league. You can see when he misses he is angry at himself for not doing better, he know's he can. I am sure if he is with us for another couple of seasons he is going to be getting 20-30 goals a season.

Also, he easily could have had a hat trick against Norwich and I'm sure with time he'll be scoring those chances on a more regular basis.

He needs to get some composure in front of goal & pass it into the net rather than thrashing at every shot.
