Good luck and all, had a proper laugh watching him, but its not something I'm going to be overly worried about. I'm hoping a strong team will come out of this.

Still though you don't know what difficulties he's going through so to say he's making an excuse is not right imo.

It's obvious that it's played its part. Imagine his wife and kid having to put up with idiots calling him names or simply an ugly (and supposedly funny) caricature of him in the press. Must be awful.

Whatever anyone think, footballing reasons or not, the ban and the general ignorance of the FA, the press and the very conservative backdrop this country has, HAS played its part if he ever goes for sure. I'm pretty sure he would have stayed if things turned out to be less hysterical and out of proportion as it was. He was an easy target and it must have hurt him badly.

The bans did it, but he brought that on himself with stupidity. He can't run round playing the martyr when he bit somebody on the arm - he did that to himself and prejudiced his own position.

He's clearly a massively flawed character. No doubt he'll get into more trouble at his next club - whoever they are. The fans will love him wherever he goes. He's great to watch.

We will move on, nobody bigger than LFC. Just a shame we're looking at yet another season of transition now without two of our leaders, Carra and Suarez.

On the plus side, a slight change of system means Coutinho will make the No.10 role is own which was a bit difficult with Suarez dropping off so much.
that isnt a bad shout actually.

But the further negative of the whole thing is that if Coutinho does well, then he will look to join Barca / Real......

Suarez will be a huge struggle to replace. We will need to get creative because if we try and replace him with a like-for-like then it will only fail. We need to make the squad stronger big time - take inspiration from Juventus when they sold Zidane and go and get 3 top players. If we could get:
            - Alonso (£10m)
            - Benzema / Higuain (£20m)

plus £10m in cash to spend on Eriksen, then i would actually think we could end up being a stronger team.

If Benteke was available, then he would be a good signing as well....

All this understanding of his situation is admirable, but the fact is now that he has said that he wants to leave weakens the hand of the club in any negotiations. It would have been a lot easier if he kept his mouth shut and let things take their course.

He borught the treatment from the press on himslef, he cant blame the press for the evra incedent, nor can he blame the press for Ivanovich, or the blatant Diving and cheating he does.

Of course the press will jump on any of that behaviour, unless it's an english player or Man U player.

At the end of the day it shows just how little he thinks of the Club and fans after the way he was backed over Evra.

As good as he is as a Footballer, as a personallity on the pitch he is far worse than Deouff, but just because he is a genius with the ball it's being overlooked by the fans.

                  Bertter off without him TBH.

It seems he's put in a transfer request if his quotes are correct. So, let's wait to see what the club says.

i cannot begrudge suarez for wanting to leave, but all these interviews and 'sneaky soundbites' leaves a bitter taste.

if he wants to go then let his agent talk to real, speak to LFC and then let them sort out the deal. suarez should have nothing to say publically on this matter.
we, as a club, are getting ****ed over as he is almost saying its a done deal even before there is any negotiation between the clubs and his agent.

the wrong way for a LFC legend to leave. if he truly gave a **** about the club and the fans then he would show a little more respect and not be engineering this move so publicly.

he blames the english press and the FA for hounding him, but he does not take into account his behaviour and attitude. no doubt he has created this situation.

how much of this was actually done on purpose... i think the bite was a deliberate act to help ease his move. dirty foreigner.

                      suarez out. 50m please.

No we're not better off him. Ask Real if they'll be worse off with him.

He's got baggage but I'm prepared to take it all with the package. He's a winner and we'll be with one less if he goes. Don't care about the rest to be honest.

Honestly, I don't really care how the stuff comes out. All I'm concerned with is how good our team is next year. If he leaves it is a massive blow but the key thing is how we spend however much we get for him.

In some ways it will certainly be a relief to not have the circus that surrounds him next year but I'm pretty certain we will be a weaker team for it if he goes.

I don't think it weakens us at all. I'm pretty sure Torres asked to leave yet we still got £50m for him.
