    Only Messi?

I'm sorry & I actually hate the guy but the fake Ronaldo is so far ahead of Suarez in terms of ability it's stupid to compare the two.

It's debatable whether or not Suarez is even the best player in the league, and he's not that either for me. Just about gets into the top 5 in all honesty.

No need to ridiculously over-hype the lad.

At the moment Suarez is definitely in the top 3 in teh premier league IMO, with Silva and Van Persie who have both been sensational this season. Suarez is simply outstanding but still good bit behind Messi & Ronaldo.

Just about gets in the top 5 ?? The only PL players on Suarez's level are Silva, Rooney and RVP. You have to remember that the likes of Aguero, Nani, Mata etc. are surrounded by quality team mates while Luis has to play alongside the like of Downing, Carroll, Henderson and Kuyt - decent players but not top quality.

Ronaldo and Messi is better finishers. If you include defending then Suarez is better than them. He win the ball back very often. Ronaldo is rubbish defensively.

So if you look at the full picture then Suarez is better than Ronaldo. Why shouldn't you include defending if you compare them?

Messi win the ball back very often at Barcelona.

My top three in the world when it comes down to strikers.

          1. Messi
          2. Suarez
          3. Ronaldo

Why do you think that Coentrao is benched very often and if he play then it is as defensive midfielder? Why do you think Ramos or Arbeloa play instead of him? Ronaldo is so **** defensively that you can't play Coentrao as a wing back because he isn't good enough defensively.

Messi's surrounded with the most quality players possible, it doesn't make him any less of a great player. Aguero's talent has been obvious since he was around 17, no matter what team he's played in too, same for Silva.

FWIW I'd rank it like this

            1. Silva
            2. Aguero
3-7 In any order..Suarez, Rooney, Modric, Nani, van Persie

Dunno if I'd say Suarez was 3rd & tbh it really doesn't matter, the lad is class and he's ours.

Most of them are all completely different kind of players anyway, making lists like this even more pointless, since you can't really even compare the players.

Worth remembering that Luis is only 24-25 & not even in what should become his peak years which is a crazy thought. I wouldn't swap him for any player.

You want to see some of the ****ing goals he scored for Ajax, once you've seen them you'll see why went for him. Check out of some of his clips, some of his finishes are unreal.

That goal he scored the other night, he used to bang them in like that regularly for Ajax it's the norm for him.

Suarez is nowhere Messi & Ronaldo at the moment. He is on par with the likes of Silva,RVO,Aguero and few others. He has been outstanding but i think youre being a wee bit kneejerk arn.

West Brom midfielder Paul Scharner has accused Liverpool striker Luis Suarez of diving to earn a penalty during Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash at the Hawthorns.

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has constantly defended Suarez from such allegations since the player arrived at Anfield. But Scharner has reopened the debate after the Reds were awarded a spot-kick when Jerome Thomas was adjudged to have fouled the Uruguayan after only eight minutes.

Asked for his verdict on Suarez's performance, Scharner said: "It was a nice dive for the penalty and that got Liverpool well started for the game."

He added: "He (Suarez) is very good at winning penalties. He's one of the best on the planet, in fact. I had a good view of it.

"If that's a penalty, then you will find 1,500 penalties are given in every match.

"I know it was the assistant who flagged for it and maybe he had a better view than the referee. But there was a general feeling amongst all the players that it was a soft penalty."

That rug really tied the room together.

Whatever keeps Scharner deflecting attention that he's actually paid to play football and no one's cottoned on to this outrageous fact.

it probably was a soft pen, but it was a pen!

It was Suarez so easy to try and blame it on a dive even though it clearly wasn't to disguise the fact West Brom were so poor it's unreal.
