They have a different majority owner now. He want them to spend big and is prepared to scrap the tight wage structure by the look of it.

There'd be mayhem if we sold him to Arsenal. Would be a disgrace.
      Thanks very much for being

I still don't think they've got the spending power to purchase Suarez and give him a pay increase. If they have I'd imagine they'd be blowing their whole summer's transfer funds on one player.

like others have said - selling him to Chelsea or City would have little impact on us, we're not in a position to compete with those clubs anyway.

Seriously do not give a toss about Luis anymore.

I said long ago he'd leave this window. More interested to see who'll get his shirt...

I think the problem is when the same jokes is posted so many times that you get say five jokes, the same jokes, posted after almost every post I make.

It destroy the thread and it isn't fun to read the same jokes over and over again. Not for me and not for almost everyone else.

Almost everyone want to discuss other things than me.

I deserved some of it but all the jokes got out of hand. Banter is ok but what happened wasn't banter. Some posters don't like me to say the least and used the situation to their advantage.

Some things posted about me wasn't even jokes or banter. It was cyberhate. A lot of very ugly name calling.

I'm not singling you out (well, I am I suppose ), but I honestly can't understand our fans wanting rid of Suarez.

Yeah, he's an idiot and he's done some silly - inexcusable - things. But he's our best player by a long way.

I think it's possible to make a single point without stating it as fact and then just leave it. If people disagree then they disagree and if they agree then they agree. It doesn't make the original point any more or less valid because it's just someone's point of view. There's a huge difference between discussion and trying to bore people into submission, Craig did that and he's not here any more.

I never said I wanted rid, I just expect it.

                      Oh.

And I wasn't singling you out but your original comments... nevermind.

If that happened then FSG would need to sell up and leave. I would not trust them not selling our best players to our rivals time after time.

                        It would show **** ambition.

I want a owner that can take us back to the top again. I want a owner that show that ambition is more important than money.

Selling Suarez to Arsenal would IMO show that money is the only thing they care about.

I would rather see us selling him to Real for £35m than selling him to Arsenal for £45m.

I still don't think we'll get less than £45m for him, but I'd rather sell him to Real Madrid for peanuts than strengthen one of our weakest rivals.

Bascombes article says to me that Arsenal have no chance of signing him . It says we value him more than Torres and they aren't going to spend over 50m on him.

Funny how national newspapers who insisted Liverpool must sell such an unsavory character now seemingly have no criticism of Arsenal's supposed attempts to sign him. I thought he had no place in English football?
