Another article in the Echo that only talks about the negative side of it.
Again they "forget" to mention that he talked about how much he love the club and the fans. He talked about that in almost every interview.
It is difficult to twist it more than the Echo done. Neutral article my arse.
If you do an article like this then you should mention the whole story and not only the half that fits your agenda.Stop the cyberhate

Arn, what's the point saying you love the fans and the club, then say 'I'll give my soul for Madrid'. It's just hollow words. Look at the timing of his interviews, especially the one this week. Day after his agent met us, when he is supposed to be on holiday.Another article in the Echo that only talks about the negative side of it.

Blatantly touting himself for a move. He doesn't love the club or the fans. Not many players do like the article says. It's all pretty fakeComment

We don't know what the club promised him when he signed the new deal. Maybe they promised him to listen to any offer that is big enough?
Remember the Mascherano and Xabi deals. We had allegedly promised both of them that we would listen to offers that matched a certain valuation. Both of them promised to stay one more season because of that promise.
In the end we didn't give a **** about the promises we made.
Wouldn't surprise me if we promised Suarez the same thing when he signed the new deal.
The Echo would of course never admit that because they would risk losing their contacts at the club.
I will never blame a player when he leave because I don't know the whole story.
We fans have looked like idiots when we blamed the players and called them a lot of things when they left and after a couple/few years the whole story leaks out and surprise surprise the club was as much to blame as the players.Stop the cyberhate

Rodgers says spoke to Lui, fact remains the same we value the player, talked to him on the phone, valued player etc etc.
AB: Have you tried to persuade him to stay, that it's not a witch hunt by the press,
BR: Weve moved on from that, Suarez just wants LFC to do well, but he also wants to play at the highest level too, he's a competitor, he's a blah blah good player.
We want to bring in players to reinforce the 'group', talking to Lui every day nearly.

Rodgers on Talksport saying he speaks to Luis everyday in some form, whether by text or phonecall.
Stated 3 years left on contract and that he wants to keep him. Fielded the questions about him very well.Comment

Because players saying things like this is a part of the deal. When a player sign a contract with a club then almost all the time he also agree to talk positive about the fans and club in interviews and doing a lot of commercial stuff.Arn, what's the point saying you love the fans and the club, then say 'I'll give my soul for Madrid'. I will give my soul means that he will do what he is asked to do as part of a contract. He won't love them. He will do his work for them, talk positive about them, do commercials for them and of course play football.Stop the cyberhate
