Eh? Sturridge has played most of his PL football out wide and his versatility was one of the key reasons Rodgers bought him. He's probably much better as a CF but you certainly can't say he's 'limited' to that position.

Oh I know he's played out wide but he looks much poorer out there compared to when played through the middle.

I definately think we'll take the Higuain plaus money. Higuain plus 15m should be enough.

Higuain has a pretty good strike rate over the last 5 years scoring 2 goals every 3 games which is not bad at all. However he was clearly valued at around 20-25million by RM for a proposed move to Arsenal, so I think we would need to have at least 15m back and more like 20million back asswell as his services.

However its not clear why his transfer to Arsenal dragged on so long unless it was being delayed by his club who have been trying to sell him a move to Liverpool in order to get Suarez.

Having said all that, I think it is is just more speculation

once we say yeh, ok, 15m and higuain, for example, this means we are going to let suarez leave. he chats to them, higuain [possibly under instructions from madrid] has a cup of tea [with some nice biscuits] with ayre, then turns down the offer. we are then left dangling our balls ready for someone to hack them off.
