The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved. -
he's a stupid boy, that suarez. the fa are gonna ban him for flipping off the fans last night.Comment

Despite not scoring he's still a genuine and constant threat to the opposition.Comment
-
He's easy to defend against now that defenders are allowed to bundle him over without anything given.
Won't be surprised if he gets ****ed off with it & wants a move away. He's been clearly targeted by the media/FA & Slur.Comment

I actually laughed a little last night when Hangeland obstructed him in the box. Wilkins in all his wisdom goes "that's never a foul, it's obstruction if anything." Yes a ****ing foul you idiot!Comment

The thing is though how often do you see obstruction given in football these days? The way defenders allow the ball to run out of play often amounts to obstruction but it's almost never given. I'm not saying it's right or justifies the decision but that seems to be the way it's going in football. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

Yip. Very rarely given in the box at least. But there's a notion they're putting across at the same time that Suarez is going to ground easily and even diving but then using him being obstructed as evidence of this. :shakehead:The thing is though how often do you see obstruction given in football these days? That's what i was thinking. I mean, if every tom dick and harry is going to call the FA and ask if they're aware of Luis's 'hand gesture', then they are going to be damn well aware are'nt they!
Grasses!
edit: i know i know, the FA would have heard/known about it anyway, but still, why call and f***** ask then!

I'm not disappointed that he hasn't scored since October.
He is consistently good and lack of offensive production hardly takes anything away from his overall impact on our team.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan clubComment
