That pic of Ayre dancing on Robbies shoulders must have been taken after he saw the latest offer from Arsenal.

David Onstein spoke to the Suarez Camp? I call BS.

He barely seems to write about football so if he had that connection I am sure he would have wrote more about the subject over the summer.

He has only wrote 3 football articles all summer - 2 about Paulinho and 1 about Tevez.

I think that we will be forced to sell him on the cheap

At least Ayre should get sacked if that happened

If we sell him to Arsenal then we can kiss any hope of getting near 4th spot goodbye.

City have improved incredibly, utd are still very strong and Chelsea have a great squad with the plus point of having a talisman coming back as manager.

Improving the main team we could hope to catch would be extremely painful.

Barrett - Liverpool will inform Suarez of Arsenal’s latest offer after the match against Melbourne Victory tomorrow
Pretty sure he will be aware by then.

Admittedly I've said this sort of thing before but I'd feel like giving it all up. I could handle selling him abroad for £50m+ but selling to Arsenal for any price would be very hard to stomach.

Let him go to arsenal. They're not one player short od challenging for the title they're four or five.

Even if he joins them he will only be fighting for fourth every season, just as he would be with us.

50m and they can have him. But we should aim as high as possible.

I can't believe he'll move there. I can't believe his advisers would encourage him to leave us for Arsenal. They're living in cloud cuckoo land.

@paul_tomkins: Liverpool have rejected Arsenal's Suarez bid of £40,000,001. Holding out for £40,000,002.

We know how Arsenal work. If the spend £40,000,000 on Suarez they will have to sell some decent players.

They won't be adding, they will weaken elsewhere. He could easily end up out of the CL and stuck for the remaining years of his peak.
