We may let Suarez speak to Arsenal (because we are obligated to do so) but unless Arsenal meet our valuation I have no idea what they are going to talk about.
Whinger - 'So, how's the family?'
Suarez - 'Good, yours?'
Whinger - 'Good. Some summer we're having'
Suarez - 'It's a little too hot for my taste'Comment

Didn't Rodgers say last night, it doesn't even allow them to talk? I suspect it's a case of informing him, but telling him the bid wasn't high enough so he can't speak to them. That's why the ball is apparently back in his court nowWe may let Suarez speak to Arsenal (because we are obligated to do so) but unless Arsenal meet our valuation I have no idea what they are going to talk about.

Suarez looking so happy last year signing his new contract with his daughter in his lap seems so long ago now.
What changed since then? I know we never made top 4 but when he signed we didn't look like we would, and we have seen so much progress since January. Really disappointed in his lack of faith.

Irony right there, from someone who is often critical of the current regime.Suarez looking so happy last year signing his new contract with his daughter in his lap seems so long ago now.

I'm sure someone on the behalf of Arsenal is going to tell Suarez to try and force his way out to drive the price down.Comment

Ah come on, I was only having a laugh. There's certainly no mission.
It does illustrate something pertinent though. We as fans have an emotional investment in the club. Players, as employees often don't. Why should they? It's a job. I know you think it's irrelevant, but actually, it is relevant.
If you get disillusioned, then of course some of players will feel the same. Without the emotional attachment (a la Gerrard), then why should we expect the players to stay if they get a better offer elsewhere?Oh I don't know.Comment

There were rumours he was. Attended a few games as well. Pretty sure Suarez will have a copy of his contract so won't need Dein or anyone else helping them out.
Suarez has probably sent it to a load of clubs with his CV hoping to get a move. Had plenty of time since he bit Ivanovic
