I find it incredible that we signed him unchallenged and that he hadn't been snapped up already. I know Mancs, Chelsea and Spurs fans every single one of them lamenting they never signed him. It's awesome. I ****ing love the lad. He has that indomitable South American spirit. Argies & Uruguayans are ****ing awesome. He's a hero
      Thanks very much for being

Yep totally agree. I also had to argue with a lot of my friends who doubted his ability touting him as a wide forward/winger in a 4-3-3.

Had to convince them that though many South Americans start as wide players they generally tend to move in after some time and that he had all the attributes to play behind the striker or as a front man.

The one that I didn't potentially see in him is that he can also play as a flase number nine like Messi does sometimes.

Amazing player for half of Torres' worth. Fantastic business.

If he doesn't get injured he will walk the player of the year so well that the PFA would have to choice but to give it to him instead of Milner/Bale/Scholes

                          Interesting you said that.

The negotiations were going on for so long I am not so sure that we would have signed him in January if Torres haven't made up his mind about going to Chavs and in the process forced and helped complete Suarez signing.

I think in reality the fact that he was playing in the Dutch league meant the maximum price anyone would pay would not really have been much more than what we paid. They got top dollar for him at that time, just that he is worth more than double that now because he has shown he can rip up the PL.

When Madrid come calling I honestly think they will be offering 60 mil for him come the end of next season if he keeps going like this

Crazy thing about Giggs is that he's done more this year than he did last
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
