Can you imagine that going on The Kop as a celebration dance.

He is one of the top three strikers in the world. It is a long time since I saw someone dominate a big championship the way Suarez did in the Copa America.

The last time someone did that was 86' when Maradona dominted the World Cup.

Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez. That is the three best strikers out there.

He has the edge that you just can't teach, a pure competitor; every ball, every touch he is trying to excel and win. He'll do whatever it takes; even his handball on the goal line in the World Cup was exactly in character... took his red card, stood in the tunnel and celebrated the penalty win. He leaves everything on the field. I absolutely love watching him play... working class ethos with world class ability.

As someone on Twitter recently said I wouldn't swap him for anybody in the world right now including Messi.

Imo he's the most important piece in our quest for the Holy Grail and we need to do whatever it takes to keep him with us for next 3,4 years at least.

Does anyone else get the impression he works well with Forlan because of the laters unselfish movement and work rate. He did well with Kuyt too for us. I do have concerns about how well he will work with a more fixed centre forward like Carroll.

He works very well with Dirk and IMO is our best pairing upfront.
