Luis Suarez is not worried that defenders will swot up on how to stop him now he is an established star in English football.

Many foreign players profit from the fact that Barclays Premier League opponents don't know much about them when they play their first few games in England.

But our tricky Uruguayan dismisses any notion that defenders will have a better idea of how to handle him now they've seen him in action countless times.

On whether he feels under pressure to avoid what many call 'second season syndrome', Suarez told LFC Magazine: "I feel no pressure at all. In fact when a defender studies you, it almost makes it easier because you just don't do what he expects you to.

"If he thinks you are going to go to your right, you go to your left and so on, and you just keep switching it round so you are hard to read. It keeps you on your toes but really it's harder for the defender because he can't know what you are going to do."

Suarez has started the season in great form and has already hit the goal trail, but does he have a target for 2011-12?

"I don't set a goals target and I never really have personal goals, just collective goals for the team. That is far more important than what I do myself. It is about team targets."

On those team objectives, the striker says the squad will be aiming high.

"We want to get Liverpool back into the Champions League and maybe win a cup. But we also want to get as high as we can in the league. It might be a little bit early but if there's a chance to win the league, we will go for it."

Just saw that Real Madrid link. Made me think, Suarez is a winner and always wants to be winning. We can only hope we develop a squad that can challenge for the EPL soon, as I think he would get frustrated if he is not hitting the high targets he sets for himself and the team. Would hate to lose a player like this. He just seem's so right for Liverpool. Even more than Torres did.
