Might have just been a one off but i heard it yesterday in the car. It might have been talk**** going on about how he played for the pen and made the most of the rodwell tackle. It as also mentioned during the match commentry. Oh yes and also the Bitters in the phone in.

Just pisses me off that they move from carroll to another LFC player. The main focus should have been the Bitters fans behaviour towards our players when taking corners.
That was what really pissed me off as the stewards could see who was throwing the items but chose to do **** all. I hope they get fined and the fans caught and banned but known them lot they wont.Comment

Their fans throwing stuff on the pitch isnt something which impacts the result.
Suarez played his part in the Rodwell sending off - not that i'm unhappy with him for it, but clearly the media will discuss it and he made an absolute meal of it.Comment

The point being that the Rodwell sending off was more to do with the ref than Suarez IMO. Even with Luis going down it was not even a yellow card. It's part of modern day football now and i have seen Nani and others do it plenty of times. More questions need to be asked about the quality of ref's than a player going down easily.Comment

It's not about Luis going down, it's the way he rolled around in apparent agony, when the reality is, it probably didnt really hurt at all.
Again, i'm not blaming him for it, as a Liverpool fan - but i can see why the media and other fans would think he dived and conned the ref. Because the impact of the tackle wasnt in proportion with the rolling around in 'agony'.
The quality of the refs is one thing, but if the players are feigning injury where there isnt injury, and rolling around, that doesnt exactly help or make it easier.Comment

Of course he was in pain. Not every body has the same pain threshold. Some react quickly some dont.
I don't think it's his fault that his anatomy is built that way. There's a reason why they have referees.
