Just watched it though as has been reported it's been translated from Spanish. Canal + have got shares in psg I think and wouldn't surprise me if they put words to that effect in his mouth. They're the propaganda machine for psg, always have been.

He's supporting a friend, a friend who has constantly been in the media supporting Suarez in recent months.

I agree with you that it's a nothing story but Suarez could have phrased it a little better to completely remove the prospect of a story being made of it.

Something like "I love playing with Lugano and he is my friend but my future is committed to Liverpool. If i was to ever leave, then playing alongside him would be great but i'm not even thinking of leaving Liverpool" would have been fine.

Just seen the interview where the guy asks if him if he could join Paris in the future and Luis says "Yes, just like many other clubs, there are many big clubs as renowned as them whio want to build a good team & Paris is one of those teams who recruit to strengthen" or words to that effect. Pretty much just being polite and diplomatic. But the press will do what the press do.
