I reckon Rafa could turn Suarez into an absolute legend.

suarez cannot be fitted into any pattern other than the 4231. he cant play up front because he wont score enough goals. he definitely cant play off the striker because his decision making is awful and his passing is crap.

we cannot build the team around suarez because hes just too inconsistent. you cannot predict his next move because he plays off the cuff. a player like that who doesnt produce enough and keeps giving the ball back to the opposition has to be kept out of the way on the left of the 4231 where coincidentally he played really well for ajax.

we need better players in the key positions. alternatively, if psg offer 40m I would snap their hand off.

he takes the wrong option 9 times out of 10.

I agree. Suarez is a fantastic footballer and very entertaining, but if we're going to make progress we need players who can create and get goals. We don't need players with dazzling skills, we need intelligent footballers who can play the right ball and shoot with consistent accuracy. It would be nice to have the luxury of both types of players for different situations, but like you said if we were offered a substantial amount for Suarez we would be foolish to turn it down.

Yet you still think we can get £40m for him?

Nah, i've counted, it's actually 7.6429651 times out of 10.

I think that suarez in a less competitive league would score a lot of goals like he did in holland. hes got 14 this season and although hes missed 8 games he doesnt look like a player who could score 20 league goals every season.

however, he is brilliant at opening up defences but the end product isnt there. if he was played on the left he would be brilliant but in a 442 it doesnt work.

yes I think psg would offer silly money for him because he would do very well as a striker in france because he would have an extra split second to get his shot off but not here.

What's your point? Someone who cannot change their opinion breeds reptiles of the mind or something like that! Suarez doesn't create enough or score enough goals.

So you were wrong first time then? He didn't display excellent vision and wasn't a pleasure to play alongside or has he lost that ability now?

You'd rather change your mind, dismiss his record throughout his career at club and International level and 'change your opinion' based one one single season playing in a struggling team against a backdrop of controversy.

                              OK.

agreed, he has great potential but I doubt we'll see him fulfill it here which is incredibly frustrating.

I think we'd higher up the league with Bent
