Yep every set of away fans at Anfield give him the same witless abuse, the same lame songs from the MUFC songbook.

Funnily enough I haven't noticed England's brave John Terry being subjected to the same. Funny that.
        Thanks very much for being

          **** off.

If Rooney had scored a treble like that, and especially that 3rd goal, it'd be front page and we'd never hear the end of it.
The lack of respect towards him in the English press is staggering. He is truly a world class player.

He was one of the main players in Uruguay's run till the semi-finals in the world cup. All the press here can focus on is the handball.

He was one the stars in their copa america win. He has stepped up in the international stage for his country like no other English player has in the last 15 years.

Even during the racism row, press were writing articles saying Evra is an established international for his country. Luis Suarez is a far more accomplished international than Evra, Rooney, or anybody in that Manc line up.

Not a peep from the British press.

I don't think Suarez minds though. He seems to thrive on being the villain. As long as its not affecting Suarez and his ability to perform it doesn't really matter. People can go on focusing on other things apart from the football but to me it just looks like they fear him and Liverpool becoming a force again.

I was one of those saying that we should consider selling. Not on the basis that he's poor, doesn't try hard enough etc etc, it was on the basis that his value has gone up and that we could get 2 goal scoring strikers for the same money, and that he wasn't putting the ball in the back of the net frequently enough. Just look at the amount of goals we've put away this season, its clearly not enough. Not necessarily Suarez's fault, but it definetly shows that a couple of top strikers would help our aim.

Whether that is poor idea or not, I was not having a go at Suarez.

He did well today, an exceptional talent but, but this was a game that really meant little. Games like this should bring out the best in everyone because there is no pressure and they should be able to play with the type of freedom that will encourage this sort of display. Its when we're fighting for league places is when it counts.
He score against United, Arsenal and Everton in the league. He also scored against Everton in the semi final which to some was our 'biggest game of the season'. It's hardl;y as if he chokes on the big occasion or doesn't score important goals.

We've played a few games that have 'meant little' and he hasn't scored. I really don't get your point at all.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Luis talks about his hat trick and there's a video on here too, 15 angles of the 3rd goal

Few of the Norwich fans behind the goal applauding his wonder strike.

I have to say that as a hattrick of finishes you wont see a better collection than than. Left , right and best one till last. That takes some skill to put that chip away.

I hope he keeps a couple in the bag for next week.

Didn't realise his record was almost 1 in 2. That's a great return considering the **** he has been through in the last year. Plus when you factor him not having a preseason, it's even more impressive.
