4 - Luis Suarez has won more penalties in the 2011-12 Premier League than any other player. Tumble. @RssPitt
We have been awarded 5 Pens this season and Utd 11

Not sure how many Young has won but he is 2nd in the Prem list of pens won in the last 10 years with 11 in 200 games

Andy Johnson is top with 14 in 184

But Alonso's against Newcastle was a bit better
Alonso's had the benefit of a keeper already on his arse. Suarez' goal was a peach but it seemed to be closer to the goal.

I'm pretty sure I saw an opta tweet about Young winning 7 pens, it may be in all competitions...

edit.....did a check and it's 8 pens since the start of 09/10 season, twice as many as the next on the list ( Suarez probably ).

If that's 8 pens in the league he only won 3 in the previous seasons

Certainly added something to his game

I don't recall Suarez any of the pens Suarez has been awarded being dives, so that stat is irrelavent. Using that as proof of him being a diver is abusing the statistics, skillful players and those who run with the ball are always most likely to be fouled, those who do these things in the penalty area are more likely to win pens.

Suarez should have won more penalties, because he has been fouled alot of times and players have got away with it.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

You know what I actually think he meant to hit Essien in the hope that it would go in

He is one slippery and unbelievably clever player. Nothing he does surprises me anymore. John Terry must be in hospital having his legs checked for holes today.

He made Terry look like a right mug last night. Well, more of a mug than he usually is.

Loved the way Suarez and Carroll basically terrorised Terry and Ivanovic.

I said the same to me dad when we were watching it. There were 3 chavs at the near post and there was no way through. I think he did it on purpose. Nevermind, awesome run up to the goal either way and he didn't go down when he was nearly fouled by some chav near the sideline.

Blatantly and it seems so simple considering players do it all the time to win corners and throw-ins.

Some of his movement last night was just Magical, I tell you what he is on the same operating system as Messi, obviously different players in terms of style but its the subtle weight shifts in his movement which leave players for dead .. just a pleasure to watch, its hard to beleive we got an upgrade on Torres but we have .. what a player
