Yes. It was ridiculous how tired he was. His passes were lethargic due to the fact he could barely move. Having seen him play week in week out for the past 1.5 seasons, I've never seen him that drained.

The worst thing is, he won't have next summer off either as he is playing in the confederations cup

Thought Coates was a bit suspect in the first half personally, but didn't do too much wrong in the second.
Disappointing stuff from Uruguay all in all.........made look like muppets at times in the first half.

From the stands his movement looked pretty good to me. Looked rusty on the ball though. I think people are assuming because he would destroy the UAE but they were IMO a pretty decent side. I think people are massively over analysing his performance (and being unduly harsh).
