It seems Luis Suarez will never allow closure for his racism row with Patrice Evra judging by his reaction to last night's booing during Uruguay's defeat to Great Britain. He raises a fair point about the home crowd disrespecting his national anthem but the Liverpool striker has to move on from the incident with the Manchester United defender. Dredging it up at every opportunity rather than sidestepping the issue is doing him no favours. At the risk of repetition, the best way Suarez can draw a line under the unfortunate business is by allowing his feet to do the talking for him. He has the talent to do so and that is how he must silence his critics. Doing otherwise only gives license to ludicrous conspiracies.
