Not about the sale price, it's about who we could get to make us better and how much those players would cost.

    In short, get ****ed City.

      Suarez is better than Torres

      Torres went for £50m.

I'd want at least £60-70m before I even thought about it.

      And the promise of Falcao.

Nope, that's the market rate for inflated transfer fees, this would need to blow that out of the water to even make me blink.
        Hello mert.

Also, when you consider our current position (not in the CL) even with money available, it's impossible we could attract players in Suarez bracket of quality. Selling would be suicidal. And I hope if/when we do sell, he goes abroad because I hate seeing our better players (barring Torres haha) representing teams in the same league, it's so wrong.

If performances continue as they are, then I'd certainly expect some big bids in the summer..

Hopefully we can match expectations by then..

Nothing less than £70million. He's still young. And that would just be the starting price of any auction!

I would want him to stay as we have a talent of wasting money on **** when we sell for a big price.

I think FSG will be seriously tempted by that offer. Much is said about 'an FSG signing' and one point is a players peak value after being purchased at a young age. A double-your-money, £20m out, £40m in will definitely cause some chins to be rubbed.

No way he will be sold for just £40m

Do people honestly think if word got out we were happy to sell that nobody would top that offer. £60m minimum

                        The owners wouldn't dare.

The fans would be livid if we sold Suarez.

Didn't BR say only the other day that we would not be "doing a Torres" under his watch..can't remember where I saw it.

Plus if Torres went for £50m then £40m aint nearly enough innit..sorry broke into wheeler dealer talk...

Rodgers has already said that every player has his price, so it's just a matter of the (blue) mancs (or any other club) stumping up the money.

At this moment in time Luis is the ONLY hope we have of getting virtually any results at the moment, so there is no way BR is contemplating selling - none.
On another note, there is no way that FSG can reach their long term goal of success if they sell players of his quality - they know that.
