There is no two ways about it, Suarez is going to get offered the sun moon and stars from a host of top clubs in the summer. Lets hope is is one of the very rare breed of footballer that is not motivated by money, which I personally don't think he is, all the lad wants to do is play football, all day every day. I think he will give us one more season.

Agreed. Our problem is we've only challenged for the title on a few occasions in the past twenty years and four managers since our last appearance in the Champions League.

I like what Rodgers is building here, but we are hardly in a position to say we are one or two players of a title challenging side. In fact, it's difficult to make an argument we are only one or two seasons away from that.

Suarez I've no doubt would love to achieve his dreams here, but there will come a time when he's realistic. Suarez loved it at Ajax too, but he left at the right time.

He may have come when we were without CL football, but he was less in demand then and a promise of progress is normally enough in those circumstances.

I think he'll stay one more year. To keep him, next season we will have to show serious credentials of winning the league. He's a winner, not some average player who will be happy competing for fourth and Champions League football.

No, we have a good few good enough, I meant the other way, as in, can we honestly say we only need to sign two good players to be in a position to challenge for the title?

Note the word "Good". Obviously if we signed Ronaldo & Messi we'd have a great chance
