    He signed a new contract in the summer. Considering the inflated prices these days and the fact that Torres went for 50mil I refuse to believe we would have allowed a 40mil clause

            The real concern for me is the relationship between Suarez's agent and Pep. I am sure Pep already knows what is going to happen, be that good or bad news for us.

                                Those quotes in the Metro came from Bild, and Bild themselves don't even know where they came from. He's only speculated to Bayern because of Pep's brother. With Guardiola's connections, he'll go for players who are much more bigger than Suarez.

                                            For someone as important to us as Suarez, I can't see anyone being daft enough to put a buyout clause in his contract enabling him to be sold for less than what we got for Torres.

                                                    Suarez is 24. Yes, he's a massive, massive talent and world class, but there are plenty of older players who play in the Champions League season after season and regularly win trophies that Pep will want first.
