100% is the new 'we hope'. Inductive reasoning by Ayre.

To be fair he hopes Luis will see the four year contract through and claims to be 100% that we'll keep hold of him this summer.
      Thanks very much for being

              Hope and certain

It isn't big news - we have one of the world's top players and we're probably not going to be in Europe next season. Of course he'll consider offers - just as he did last summer.

At least we've put a marker in the sand when it comes to selling a big name striker - we'll be holding out for £50m if Luis does leave.
When you see the sort of crap that's been transferred for £50m, it seems a little on the low side. I have to say, if an offer for £60m came in then it would be really difficult not to do a deal. Of course we love him and don't want to see him go but the reality is that the player also knows he's nearing his prime and he deserves to be playing on the biggest stages

Which seems to me about as good as we could hope for.

Yep...and qualify for the CL next season to keep him here.

I for one wont pay too much heed too Ayres statement, i don't see how he can be 100% sure he'll stay beyond this summer.

I just think the offers made to Suarez will be too good for a proffessional player of his ilk to turn down. imo.

There will definitely be bids for him in the summer. To be honest you couldn't really blame him if he wanted to go, he is way above the level we are playing at and a player as talented as him should be playing top tier football i.e. champs league

As gut wrenching as it would be, it wouldn't be a surprise. Wouldn't listen to anything Suarez or Ayres says through to media either.

He doesn't say anything about being 100% sure of him staying beyond this summer. Not according to that BBC article anyway.

But i thought you agreed with DWW, so i took it as read that he must have said it.

Also i see in your other post that Ayre 'claims to be 100%' he'll stay atleast for this summer ?

You need to ask that question ?

tbh, i can only think of one player that 50mill rings a bell with .
