Very good footballer interested in moving to better club shocker.
The question isn't would we survive if we sold Suarez it's would we re-invest the money wisely.
Recent history would say no but this summer is the first main transfer window with all the scouts in place etc... so that may change, certainly Coutinho suggests value for money.
IF we took £50m for Suarez and bought 2 x CB's, 1 x DM, 1 x LB and left us pocket change to bring in a talented youngster or 2 would we be stronger and a better side for it?
Yes.
If it means spending £15m on Williams from Swansea intead of £8m (for example) then we are well and truely ****ed.The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.Comment

Maybe we bought Coutinho to be the replacement for Suarez, playing him in the 10 role off SturridgeThe King was back for a short while. Long live The King.Comment

It would not be the end of the club if he leave but other top class players won't move to us because we will look like a club with no ambition, like Arsenal.
If we sell Suarez in the summer then we can forget about qualifying for the CL the next few years.
Now we have a chance to sign good players because we have a player like Suarez. Sell him and what can we offer other top class players?
We would be able to offer them a move to a club that would yet again start a new rebuilding project without any real hope of CL football the next few years.
How many would sign on the dotted line?Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

You're absolutely right Arn, we may as well wind the club up if we sell Suarez. I mean, what would be the point of anything if we sell Luis ?It would not be the end of the club if he leave but other top class players won't move to us because we will look like a club with no ambition, like Arsenal.
