Graham ****ing Souness saying Suarez should never play for LFC again. I remember Ferguson saying the same thing last season, seems all Scots stick together. What is it with past players throwing their legend status away?

The guy is an embarassment to this club and no player is bigger than the club. He will be hit with a big ban, what use is he to us on he sidelines. How anyone can defend him is unreal.

An Arsenal supporting friend of mine said our league position is more damaging to the club than this.

No-one is defending him, but calling for him to be sold is hyperbole, where does that get anyone? We'd be only doing that to calm those temporaily on their high moral horses, who don't support the club anyway and are trying to make noises to justify their positions.

If we put him up for sale every major club in the world would be in for him. Would they be criticised for signing him? Not on your life, it would be considered a great buy by the media and their supporters. Did utd sell Cantona? ferguson is not that stupid.

Then what? We get 40m to try to buy a world class replacement who doesn't want to come because we are not in the Champions League. A year down the line Suarez is knocking in goals for City and we are languishing in 10th, losing revenue and future support.

Remember, we bought him after a worse incident.

As a club we manage the message. We ban him for the rest of the season, fine him, make him apologise, accept any ban the FA imposes.
