If #Suarez bit Ivanovic, on the forearm, as it appears on TV, why does he show the referee his tricep?

To be fair it looked like he bit him exactly where he's checking to me.

Bugger, doesn't matter how much we back him (racist accusations, etc) he keeps letting us down. He's one of the best things that's happened to LFC in the last 23 years but he's forgotten he wears the Liverbird.

And that really is inexcusable.

Liverpool Football Club has the following response to the incident that occurred during today's game at Anfield:


Luis Suarez said: "I am deeply sorry for my inexcusable behaviour earlier today during our match against Chelsea.

"I have issued an apology and have tried to contact Branislav Ivanović to speak to him personally. I apologise also to my manager, playing colleagues and everyone at Liverpool Football Club for letting them down."

The club's managing directory Ian Ayre commented: "Luis has made an unreserved apology for his actions today.

"His behaviour is not befitting of any player wearing a Liverpool shirt and Luis is aware that he has let himself and everyone associated with the club down. We will deal with the matter internally and await any action from the FA."

Brendan Rodgers added: "Having reviewed the video footage and spoken to Luis, his behaviour is unacceptable and I have made him aware of this."

It was annoying listening to Souness criticize Suarez when he did things in his career that would purposely hurt an opponent in a much nastier way.

However what I REALLY couldn't stand was him having the cheek to criticize in relation to it being the week of Hillsborough. No prick who sold his story to the *** has any right to ever use Hillsborough as a reason to have a go at anyone in any form of analysis.

He did wrong but some of our own are too quick to forget the meaning behind the phrase they spout a lot.

He'll get special treatment from the club I hope because of his footballing ability, a fine, ban and public telling off but he can't be sold.

Surely anyone with a functioning brain can see that we are so, so lucky to have the 4th best player on the planet, selling him would be utter madness.
