All the fans of our rivals on BBC and elsewhere demanding we sell him as it's somehow a stain on our club. Nonsense. It's stain on Suarez and embarrassing on the club. Do you think people are going to stop supporting us and switch to supporting Arsenal or something because of this?? No chance. Suarez is an asset to LFC, a huge one. Best player in the Premier League bar none. If we hinted at selling 10 of the worlds top clubs apart from maybe united would be in for him, yet none of them would be criticised for their moral standards. And those fans on their pulpits today would the first fans imploring whatever club they support to buy him.

LFC are not going to sell Suarez because of this. No chance. Anyone who is demanding it probably a united fan, and the response of did united sell Cantona, Keane or Ferdinand, should suffice.

I'd say 6 games at a guess. I fear more.

That is the normal charge Gibs or just a yellow card if you are English

The only reason they're all demanding we sell him is so he comes on the market because they want him. He could walk straight in to any team in the world.

It's all bollocks. A completely flawed legal/judicial system, in which the same offences are treated differently among different players based on long-accepted, but arbitrary technicalities such as "Did the ref see it? yes/no" or "Was a card brandished? yes/no"

                  IT'S ALL STUPID.

Pardon me for asking but why was Defoe not charged and why would they take such as stance against Suarez?
                    Are we winning?

Defoe was given a yellow card for the incident, as was Mascherano for the foul on him.

The referee had dealt with it on the pitch.

                          He's English, and wasn't a Liverpool player.
Suarez is foreign and plays for Liverpool.

You'll hear the usual spiel about 'how the ref saw the incident at the time and dealt with it', but that's a bit of a misnomer.
There is nothing to prevent the FA from looking at incidents the ref witnessed or missed, within reason. Its purely down to the individual case, and whether or not it warrants further action - the whole 'ref dealt with it' is a Sky Sports 'fact' continuously peddled out by some talking head for such controversy.

What it does allow for is getting the FA off the hook. They can use the 'ref dealt with it' in order to refrain from having to be left with the bag, so to speak. Very convenient when having to deal with any issues involving England internationals, for example.

Some of the comments in here are laughable. As if we can afford to sell him, he is about 70 pr cent of our team. We would be where newcastle are without him. He is not replaceable
