On a side note, all the journo's tweeting and expressing their suprise over the length of the ban are the one's who kicked up the media ****storm in the first place.
Stage 1 was fake moral outrage
Stage 2 was sit back for the verdict
Stage 3 is fake high horse posturing.

I'm pretty sure it would get lowered on appeal. Just a matter of whether we have the balls to do it and face the bad pr that would come with it.Last edited by Kenneth; 24-04-13, 02:27 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 yearsComment

I agree.
If, for whatever reason, he stays he'll be fine for a while. Then, at some point, he'll drag our name through the dirt again. But it will be ok because he's our best player and he just has a will to win. And it won't be his fault anyway.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam ladComment

I tend to agree and I think many fans will start to think the same in the coming monthsComment

Think he will be feeling a bit silly at the moment , but even if he hasn't bitten him and done anything remotely different on the pitch the fa where waiting to hang him out , I mean look at the John terry escapadeComment

Have to say I do agree with you both.
I can't name a single player who's tarnished the clubs reputation in recent times as much as Luis has. I love him to bits and he's our best player, but the club has to come first and he's single handedly responsible for ruining our reputation in recent years. It would be wrong of us as fans to gloss over that fact just because he's a good player IMO.Comment

He's single handedly ruined next season for us already.Have to say I do agree with you both.

That's the last season it has been heavily implied that he would give us to get into the top 4The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.Comment

I don't really set it as tarnishing the club's reputation. I know that's the accepted wisdom trotted out every time, but in reality I don't see or hear anyone blaming the club for it or that we've now suddenly turned into a club of scumbags. It's just Luis Suarez - people have their opinions on him and that's it.
He should've got three games and that's it. He did wrong, he should be punished accordingly and move on.
But instead he gets 10 games by those absolute cunts and people want him sold. Meh. Totally disagree. Thanks very much for beingComment
