Yep because he wants the Utd job down the road.

He fawned all over him when they played in the champions league a few weeks back.

He isn't going to win any war. The self-loving prick. Thinks he is better than he really is. Comes out with some total guff. Drops Casillas and people still think he's the special one. Got an absolute slapping yesterday. They are pants in La Liga and were even dire against Utd.

Talk about Rodgers and Plan B's. This guy's plan B was sticking a centre back up top. Why doesn't he go to a club where he can't spend loads and turn them around if he is so special

Clive Tyldesley is a massive United fan.

I really wish we, as LFC fans, wouldn't allow our hatred of Ferguson cloud what is going on with the Suarez ban.

I very much doubt Ferguson has had anything to do with what is going on here. I don’t believe anyone at the FA is doing this to find favour with Ferguson.

To me this is a straightforward case of the FA blowing in the wind and reacting to the ridiculous outrage shown in the media – with even bloody politicians getting involved.

They’ve plucked 10 out of the air, they’re now writing down some ridiculous justification for their actions as I type – no doubt it’ll be full of inconsistencies and holes.

Was sickening mate. Think I read somewhere. There was a secret poll done. 5 Madrid first teamers said they will quit if he is still in-charge next season. I bet Ramos and Casillas were 2 of the 5.

That should not hang over him for every other incident. If he'd made a two footed lunge and been send off I wouldn't expect his ban to be massively increased, I don' see the difference with this.
The judgment that biting is worse than a forearm smash or a headbutt doesn't sit well with me at all. If it's violent conduct it should be treated as such and punished inline with previous convictions.

Any change made to policy to increase punishments should be made outside of an ongoing case and then applied to all future incidents. Picking on one case simply because of media hysteria and Suarez's pantomime villain status is wildly unfair and seems to have been done to appease that hysteria. Ironically it seems to be stoking a reaction in some quarters of the press that the FA have somewhat lost the plot with regards to handing out punishments that fit the crimes.
            Totally agree, good post

If you are found guilty in a criminal court, you can appeal (if there's evidence) and if unsuccessful they don't add a bit more onto your sentence, do they? It's part of a fair legal process.

Also does the statement from the FA not prejudice the independent panel?
Was just going to say something similar. Its actually outrageous the way they pull this one out, and in total opposition to principles of justice & English law. Crazy unfair in any circumstance.

It will be full of inconsistencies, holes, conjecture, character assassination, much like the racism one. Nothing was done in that instance, but I hope it is this time.

I disagree on Fergie though. He had a huge influence I believe in the 8 game ban for racism. 2 of the panel members were his mates too

Yeah, it was tweeted by a Journalist from Spain. Does that make it more reliable?

There is clearly some disharmony there, and there is clearly a rift between Mourinho and Casillas. Can't be disputed. Without proof - obviously, football seldom works like that - I'd also agree Ramos is in the anti Jose camp. There is said to be a Portuguese/Spanish divide, which I can believe.
                      Thanks very much for being

Fergie is like white noise... always on in the background subtly influencing things around him through his far-reaching reputation.
If Fergie's not happy, no-one's happy. If Fergie's happy, everyone's happy.

I'm not looking at the FA decision as related to Fergie. I just cant stand the man and his bullying (now manipulation) of the media.

Yeah I don't think anyone's claiming Ferguson has influenced this. I definitely think he had his say in the Suarez-Evra decision though as Shaggy has alluded to.
