If he committed a sliding tackle on a colleague in almost any other profession he'd be unemployed too. Pointless analogy.

It's a moot point really IMO, our response is in a way derived from the hysterical reactions of the english press and the way they are demanding this and that and cornering both Suarez and the club.

That would never have happened with those two, see the racism case against the England captain. Had the media not been so relentless with this, the ban wouldn't have been as severe IMO.

Is there not a sociologist here? I would love to see a study of how many words/articles were written about Suarez on one hand and Terry on the other regarding their respective cases.

Why, a slide tackle is part of the game, biting is not.

Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

            I hate that analogy

Sometimes I do feel like doing a full speed, complete with run up, two-footed lunge on the annoying noisy Manc that sits a few banks of desks up from me. That'd be some sight

OK, an elbow in the cheek then. Or a headbutt. Or tripping someone. Or kicking someone in the head.

It's not nice but I would rather be gobbed on than someone commit a Keane/Haaland tackle on me and smash my knee to pieces. Much rather.

That should warrant about 15 games ban in England now.
