I think the lad could hugely benefit from an extended holiday. He's barely had any rest over the past few seasons. It's one of the silver linings of his ban really. He'll come back refreshed.

Agreed. If it was Rooney, RVP, Mata, or anyone else who'd done it, we'd probably be reacting the same as everyone else saying the 10 games was deserved.
On another subject, the club is in a no-win situation. They get Suarez to appeal, then they condone what he did and feel he shouldn't be punished. They don't interfere in Suarez's decision not to appeal, then they're leaving their star striker in the headlights to face it on his own.
