I've no problem with Bale winning the PFA award - the trinket barely registers anyway.

The fact is Bale has been one of the most outstanding players in the league this season, so while you can argue that Suarez has been better, it’s a matter of opinion.

What is an utter disgrace is the booing of Suarez’s name at the event last night – I hope that ANY LFC employee present would have got up and left out of respect for Luis. Do we know if anyone was there on the club’s behalf?

For a fellow professional to boo the name of one of the game’s best players so contemptible and just goes to show that he has been made a pantomime villain by this complete circus of a sport.

Sure didn't he pick up the most first-choices, name in the envelope etc etc, and only after last week did they 'maneuver' the award to someone else. Sure Bale's votes garnered in the Young Player's would have cost him an amount of first choice's in the Senior. Giving Luis the second place was a brilliant obvious move in trying to deflect any suspicion.
