He wants to stay. But might feel the need to leave.

Of course I have.

I never said that it is a fact by the way and you very well know that so why make a comment like this

You said that there was no doubt Suarez wants to leave and that his agent was already in contact with other clubs as if it was fact and you had insider knowledge, but the fact of the matter is you know absolutely nothing and are just guessing.Comment

No doubt Suarez want to leave. The interested clubs have without any doubt already talked to his agent and he have talked to Suarez.
If he wasn't interested then the clubs wouldn't even try to sign him.
IMO it is now down to the club won't sell until a transfer request is made.As you can see, and you also mentioned it yourself, I used the words "no doubt". That means that it is an opinion and not a fact. I also used the words "without any doubt" when I talked about his agent.
That again means that it is an opinion.
If it would have been a fact then I would have used something like. He will leave and they have talked to his agent.

There isn't. We can sell him for any amount we think he is worth.
According to various sources he supposedly said he wants to stay but if Real shows a genuine interest I am not so sure that he will.
If that happens we need to make sure that we get good money for him (If Bale is worth 60m than Suarez cannot be much less) or not sell him period.
We are in driver's seat here.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan clubComment

In normal English "no doubt" means that something is true, a definite fact. "No doubt that x" means "it's definitely true that x...".As you can see, and you also mentioned it yourself, I used the words "no doubt". That means that it is an opinion and not a fact. For an opinion you'd use "I reckon", or "I think", or similar. Even "I'm in no doubt" would be better.
[edit - actually, that's not true in all cases, but is in the context of your post that people interpreted differently]Last edited by calvoboy; 27-05-13, 06:25 PM.Comment

IMO something isn't fact whatever way they say it as long as they don't post a link as proof.
I don't care how they say it. Only the link is the proof.Stop the cyberhate

Yeah, I know what you meant - was just trying to explain how it was interpreted differently to how you meant it.
Personally I think he'll stay unless the club, not him, decides that they want to do a deal. If he went for a part exchange or less than £50m I'd be gutted.Comment

If Suarez were to leave it wouldn't exactly take much for the club to spin it that they got rid because he (Suarez) wasn't worth the hassle. That's 18 games he has missed now due to trouble almost entirely of his own making.
For the record I don't think we should sell. Any players held against their will, will still give 100% as it's World Cup year.Comment

@ Arn.
Mate, you have a way with words that quite frankly is brilliant. If ever I need a defence in court, I'll be sure to get you involved, you'd run things round their questioning. The case would be dismissed by before the day was out.

They should have got me involved on our side in the Evra gate. The case would still be going on because the translation to real english would take a looooooong time and I would argue about the translation being correct or not.Stop the cyberhate
