No way can that release clause be accurate. Not a chance. It'd be suicidal on our part to put a release clause in that low.

Not feeling comfortable with the excuse that the family do not like the city. Its pathetic really and I just hope its bull****, but Balague is connected so there must be some truth in it or he would never have gone with the story."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Why not? I'm a scouser and I love this city but I accept it might not be for everyone. Spain is another level in terms of quality of life (if you've got the money) so I couldn't blame his family for wanting to live there. Especially if his wife has family living there already. I think you can't discount that as a motivating factor for him wanting to leave.
That said I think if he leaves it will be almost exclusively for footballing reasons. You can see what a winner he is out on that pitch, it must frustrate the life out of him to see how average we can be at times. The lure of winning things with a juggernaut like Madrid would, I fear, be very hard for him to resist.

Well Balagues contact must be Suarez's agent. He is Guardiola's brother, someone Balague wrote a book about this year.*Except Michael, who died.Comment

Well he has got a lot wrong last year. I can't give you concrete examples but saying that his family don't like Liverpool when he signed a contract last year is a bit poor IMO. I'm not even sure this comes from Balague.
Real probably want him and they might be using the media to destabilise him. They've done this before. Are we winning?Comment

The excuse is preposterous even if things change. I would understand if it was for footballing reasons (though it's arguable he would be more successful at Madrid) but I'm sure Luis is smarter than that. Are we winning?Comment
