This is Madrid and its never usually a case of one or the other but it would be more difficult to organise a side with Ronaldo and Bale than Ronaldo and Suarez IMO.

i dont think atletico have a chance of getting him because theyre not going to compete to win the champions league but if Real put in a proper bid, i think he will go.

I dont think we will get more than 45m for him though.

That's the big gamble, and it is a big gamble. £40-50m sounds a lot, but is easily wasted as we've proved ourselves recently.

If the past has taught us anything, its the past has taught us everything! FSG have proven they will never* go down the unnecessarily big money route again.

There is no way LFC would be informing anyone that he was available for 40m Euros. We sold Torres for £50m and Suarez is on a different level.

3 pages added to this thread today and for no reason. He's not going anywhere. The only clubs that you would make sense for him to go to would be Madrid, Barca or Bayern.

Madrid are going after Gareth Bale for big bucks, Barcelona are signing Neymar and Bayern are signing Gotze and Lewandowski

Suarez will stay put because no other team outside of England are big enough and can temp us or him

I share the same fears but if Real go for Bale - and his agent giving direct quotes to ESPN is quite telling IMO - then surely the chances of Suarez staying are good.

Suarez may be staying, be he may be leaving too, the city of Madrid is nice, so he doesn't like Liverpool, but he may stay because the fans make him feel good, there is a £40m release clause in his contract but clubs may pay more than that.
