The club is in the powerful position here. I doubt madrid will pay that.
LFC needs to stick strictly to its valuation though, we did it with Alonso and in the end we got a good fee.

Some will say he will not perform if he is not happy but tbh i think Suarez would suck it up and get on with it rather than doing a Tevez.
              This.

For all his childish (and sometimes petulant) antics on the pitch, off it I think he's a decent, loyal guy who will continue to give his all while he's under contract...

I don't think he would have cared if he had been out alone but he had his wife and daughter with him.

Maybe, but it's hardly a big deal either way really.

The truth is we're comparatively VERY polite in this country to footballers as opposed to Spain where they are actively harassed. If he's thinking of leaving England for that reason then he will find things much worse in Madrid!

Makes a mockery of his reason for leaving really. Just admit you want to play Champions League and win trophies. Be honest with us and we'll be more likely to respect you Luis

He's not hard enough, little Luis. He should grow a ****ing pair of bowls.

Balls might be a better option

I happen to agree with all of the above but regardless of that it's just not him him to give it anything less than 100%. He's too competitive.

There's no way he'll ever half arse games to force a transfer.

No player is going to slack off in world cup year.

The main problem is still what I talked about years ago. Yes, they are paid millions but the amount of abuse they must take from us fans week in week out is totally unacceptable.

You can understand if a player sees red sometimes. I'm just surprised that it don't happen more often.

A lot of fans call them c*nts, ars*holes etc. a lot of fans call the players families whatever ugly word they can figure out.

It is something the FA must do something about. It must stop.

Throw out the so called fans. I don't care if you throw out 100+ fans from a game, it must stop.

That isn't a part of the game. What is a part of the game is to support you team.

Football should look at how they do in the NBA, NFL. MLB and NHL.

                                Banter yes, abuse no.
