To quote the man himself 'Heads Gone'

What an utter moron this bloke is - he has become a parody of himself now.

The **** has conveniently omitted Rooneys lacklustre performances for the national team in recent competitions and the possibilty of this causing ingerlund to miss out on qualification this time around

Plus even Slinky could score if he was in the scum team

              I know he's a WUM but I'm gonna bite.

That line about "standing out in an average team" is such utter bollocks. It's a damn sight easier to look good and score goals in a side at the top of the league.

Yeah, it's so ridiculous you just have to laugh sometimes.

I'm just lost for words (doesn't happen often) with that article. It's so stupid there isn't much to say on it

It annoys me as I don't want to bite, that's what he wants people to do. But it's hard to read that and not get angry at the sheer ignorance displayer.

Think on the positive side guys. When Ancelloti reads that column it'll no doubt put him off signing Luis and make him go all out for Rooney.

haha i'm trying not to bite either

the bit that's got me is - all he had to do was look good at liverpool because we are so desperate for a hero.....

forget the 'underachieving line', thats another argument.

Suarez, ultimately replaced Torres - Torres (despite years of the club underachieving) was a ****ing superstar at liverpool, he ripped the league apart and he was loved by the fans, he was a hero, we were crushed when he went.

So suarez had to a little more than just be good for us to get over torres. He had to be better than torres, which a few years ago when torres was at his best everyone in the world would have thought it would be impossible to do better than torres except for messi and ronaldo.

and whilst we are on the subject of heroes - despite our underachieving over the years, we still have a long list of heroes during this time.

Durham and the Daily Mail, a perfect fit.

TBF, ones on here have used the same argument with Lucas and more recently Allen.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Great, I hope he doesn't see this as us blocking a dream move.

If it's all just tabloid bull**** then I look forward another amazing season with no stupidity and contender for player of the season.

                              Oh and CL qualification
