I'm not convinced but I'm hopeful. Only downer is him being banned for the first 6 games. Nightmare that. Would be awesome going into day one with our new player + Suarez. Ah well. Still hope he stays.

He would probably been rested the first few games anyway because he played in the CC.

He can now instead have a good rest and he really need it. After that do full pre-season training.

2010 he played in the WC, 2011 he won the South American championships, 2012 he played in the Olympics and this summer he played in the CC.

He need a rest. He will be an even better player after he had that. You could see how tired he was in the CC but he still played very good.

This may have been suggested already, but what are the odds RM have told him to sit tight for a year until they cash in on Ronaldo? I think Barcalona are out of the picture now having bought Neymar.

I don't think Madrid are that interested due to his off-field antics. Their policy and survival is all about selling merchandise so their players need to have exemplary characters, something our Louis doesn't have.

You may have a point though, if they could tap him up so he sulks enough they get him cheap, could be an option for them.

Huh?! They have a team full of cunts - Pepe (10 game ban not so long ago), Ramos (sent off once a fortnight), Ronaldo (complete cunt) etc. I honestly don't think they give a **** about Suarez's antics. I just reckon they have other priorities - i.e. Bale, Isco already signed.

I think it all hinges on Ronaldo signing a new contract.

If he doesn't they will try and shift him and get Bale in. If he does and Higuain leaves then they will certainly need another striker although if Cavani ends up as PSG then maybe Ibra arrives at Madrid?
