Can still find a radio station though, or be found by them....quite often......fair play to him.

In 2 days from delight to despair, first Micky Ryan, now Suarez.

Slap a £50-60million price tag on him, and stand firm. If no one buys him fine. If they stump that up, then ok. But hopefully they would stick a deadline on any offers for him as another Carroll/last minute deal could go very wrong.

If Chelsea offered 35M for Luis Suarez + Lukaku, the Belgian striker I think this would be a very intersting deal indeed.

Lukaku spent time at West Brom and did quite well, and his shot on target ratio I beleive was one of the highests in the Premier League.

this solution at least would give some scope for a direct replacment with a bit of cash to spare.

we are going to need to spend big next season if and when we get back into the Champions league. i appreciate the two are not the same type of player but they offer something different and i think we could do worse. 35m for andy Carroll springs to mind.

If there's no acceptable bid by the time he's due back in training then he stays and tell him that. If clubs want him his agent will tell them the score. After he's back in training the price doubles, no negotiation.

Madrid will wait as long as possible thinking we'll take whatever they give us rather than have an unsettled player on the books. Torres and Chelsea did the exact same ****.

i was just comparing lukaku and benteke. both 20 years old [apart from benteke who is 22], 6'3" and from belgium, so dont loose them to african nation comp.
benteke got 19 in 37 at genk before going to villa, not much before this.
lukaku got 33 in 73 at anderlecht before going to chavs/west brom. two decent seasons before coming to uk.

both good prospects who would be well supported by our lively midfield. if we can get lukaku as part of a suarez deal and still cream 30m then this must be considered good as we might get allowed more in a p/x than a straight cash deal, maybe.

i would much sooner see suarez go abroad. it would be terrible seeing him smash goals in for other premiership teams

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

With Torres we were a one man band (leaving out Gerrard from this). Having Torres throw a hissy would mean end of our team. Chelsea knew that.

Suarez as good as he has been, is hardly in the same privileged position. Can be sensed in the general apathy of supporters not caring he wants to leave. We now have a team, which means a team. If it means he sits on the bench moping then no skin off our nose, we're hardly going to get £50m from him and go buy Messi anyway.

Real Madrid can try what Chelsea did. But we've moved on (thank God). Also, one man team = ****wittery of the highest order.
