Well the replacement Rodgers had earmarked has buggered off to Dortmund, i wonder who's choice number 2 in door number 2.

What a dilemma. I don't want anyone at this club who doesn't want to be here, no matter how good.

BUT.

Lose Suarez and I genuinely can't see us making the top 4. He's a genius. Who the hell can we sign who's even close to being as good as him?

I don't see many players out there who I really want at the club, even if we were considered a big pull. When you take into consideration we are getting turned down because of a lack of CL by any top class player it makes it even more difficult.

Catch 22. To make the CL we need top players. To get top players we need to be in the CL.

We've done some nice early business, but as it stands we look to be losing Carra and Suarez from the first team and potentially replacing them with inferior players. Massive job on for Brendan & the rest.

I dont believe it was sell to buy. He was the main target and spent weeks negotiating for him. Wouldnt go for that level of player if never had the money

I doubt that very much. He isn't that type of player. I have never seen him not working his socks off in a game. He hate to lose to much.
