We don't even know if he will force a move or not.
IMO we should tell him that we won't sell him this season if someone don't make a £60m+ bid. We should tell him that he is one of the best players in the world and if he stay this season then we will let him leave next summer for £40m+.
Then it is up to his agent to find a club that is willing to pay what we want.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

We should of course also tell him that the very latest we will sell him the first week of August because we need time to sign a replacement.
If he don't find a club that will pay what we want then he is staying.
If he moans about it then the transfer fee should be £60m next summer instead of £40m.Stop the cyberhate

I had this guy all wrong to be honest. Didn't think he was this kind of character but I fully expect him to fcuk us this summer, big time.
I'm pretty sure he said towards the end of the season that he'd stay even if we didn't get in the CL (even in his interview with Northcroft in the Times). Then he bites Ivanovic (which I think was deliberate by the way to cause a storm).
Then within weeks, he can't hack the bad press and wants to leave the country. Now it's not the country and he's happy to be linked with Arsenal.
He got up to all sorts at Gronigen to get his move to Ajax and I fully expect him to do the same thing now. This is a huge test for Ayre, Rodgers and FSG. I seriously hope they make an example of him. Only sell him on our terms or don't sell him at all.
I can totally understand when people say he deserves to play in a CL team. For me though, I don't think he does bearing in mind the sheer indiscipline of the guy. But his antics are blatantly aimed at lowering his transfer value. And the way we've supported him through his own caused issues, in my eyes he's a bigger cunt than TorresComment

Took 'em to a formal tribunal to try to force it through, lost but got his move anyway because Ajax doubled their previous offer.
Not sure that would work in this country at all.Comment
-
Think every court and legal authority would laugh at him in this country just based on his history.Comment

Lets see how this pans out first eh Sarb? If he does go through with this I will agree with what you say but it is still a tad premature to condemn him at this stage.

He is off mate. The Echo have printed the full transcript of his radio interview yesterday. Doesn't make very good reading. Comes across a total bellendComment

Maybe.
Thinking more along the lines of there's no real precedent for it. I don't think we would prevent him going unless someone fails to meet our valuation. Nowt wrong with that.Comment
-

But he obviously believes our valuation is unrealistic hence his public comments aimed at making his position at the club untenableComment
